Hey Austin, 4 years ago I was delayed on a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Barcelona. I have not claimed any flight compensation because I did not know that I was entitled to any. Is it too late to submit a claim for my delayed flight?

Under normal European legislation, claims can be submitted up to 2 years after the delayed flight. However, in certain countries this limitation period may be shorter or longer. Fortunately for you, the statute of limitation is set at 6 years in the UK (5 years in Scotland). This means that you can still claim your compensation for your delayed flight!

If you have any other delayed flights that you are unsure about, you can always check them using our free flight checker. This checker takes all these different criteria into account, so you can see if you are eligible for flight compensation. Furthermore, if you decide to submit a claim with Flight-delayed.co.uk, we will handle everything for you (even taking your airline to court if necessary). Claims submitted with us are on a no-win-no-fee basis, so you will never lose money! However, if you would prefer to try and do this yourself then we understand, but know that we are always here to help!

Best wishes,

Austin from Flight-delayed.co.uk
